All posses, no matter what their persuasion (even “outlaws”) start the game in good standing. A posse may become “wanted” if the following apply:

• They commit a serious crime (robbery, murder, abduction etc.) that was witnessed (this is at the umpire’s discretion). This may apply to one or all of the posse depending upon the situation.
• If a posse attempts a jailbreak, courthouse raid, rescue from the gallows, fires upon a member of an official “law” posse or otherwise interferes with the course of the law. All posse members who take part will become subject to the Wanted rules.

NB: since Aftermath City straddles the border between Arizona and California it is possible for members to be wanted in only one of the states (e.g. for robbery). Some crimes (e.g. murder of a lawman) will result in the member being wanted on both sides of the border!
