Taken out of action

At the end of each game players must roll for their posse members taken out of action as normal. Before doing so, however, they must first roll on the table below:

Hero - Wanted
1-3 Captured: stand trial
4-5 Roll on serious injuries table (ignore “Trial result”)
6 Crawl away to lick your wounds – you make it back to your hideout
Hero - Not Wanted
1-5 Roll on serious injuries table (ignore “Trial” result)
6 Crawl away to lick your wounds – you make it back to your hideout
Henchman/Hired Gun - Wanted
1 Dead
2-4 Crawl away to lick your wounds – you make it back to your hideout
5-6 Captured: stand trial (Pinkertons, etc., collect bounty or ransom)
Henchman/Hired Gun - Not Wanted
1 Dead
2-4 Crawl away to lick your wounds – you make it back to your hideout
5-6 Injured - miss next game

Note that official “law” posses do not collect bounties on captured outlaws wanted in their state: they receive the fines imposed by the court instead and have a slightly higher basic income.

Note that it is possible for a “Wanted” posse to capture a hero by them rolling a “captured” result on the serious injuries table. There is no other way for wanted posses to capture opponent’s characters.

Note that it may be possible to collect a “Wanted” bounty even if the wanted henchman or hero is killed depending upon the “Wanted“ conditions.
